Lena Francis Hunter, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013. She was born Nov. 3, 1919 the daughter of Asher and Etta Mae Page. Her life was dedicated to her faith, her family, and her teaching. After her husband suddenly died of a heart attack, at age 35, she completed her degree at Indiana State Teachers College (now Indiana State University) and started teaching to provide for her family (son, daughter and mother). ...
