Updated at 4 p.m. Wednesday Greene County Assessor Willard Neill didn't waste any time making his re-election candidacy official on Wednesday morning on the opening day of filing. Neill was the first candidate to file candidacy papers with the Greene County Voter Registration office. Neill, a Republican seeking a second term, was standing at the door when the office opened at 8 a.m. to file. Republican Mike Hasler followed shortly thereafter and filed his intentions to run for county sheriff.
