Plan Commission staffing to be proposed to the county council

The Greene County Commissioners will ask the County Council later this month for funding of at least a part-time or a contracted position to handle clerical duties associated with the operation of the County Plan Commission. Commissioner Nathan Abrams, who serves on the Plan Commission, explained at Tuesday morning's meeting that previous clerical duties ---- such as sending out notices of meetings, preparing meeting agenda, mailing notices to violators ---- were handled in a contract with the Greene County Economic Development Corporation that was funded by the Greene County Redevelopment Commission. ...

Highway crews to shift to spring four-day work schedule
