PROVIDENCE - The Linton-Stockton Miners dropped a 2-0 decision to Austin in the semifinals of the IHSAA Class 2A Baseball Providence Regional here Saturday. Austin left hander Aaron McIntosh tossed a no-hitter while striking out 11 Miners and walking only two.....

Local churches make an impact across the globe

Thousands of people in Tanzania will have access to two books of the Bible thanks to Greene County churches. In a joint project with Blessed Hope Baptist Church and Olive Branch Baptist Church, Bethel Baptist Church recently embarked on a project to print and assemble 150,000 copies of the books John and Romans in Swahili to be distributed throughout the Morogoro Region in Tanzania.....
