Cycling for Parkinson event to take place at Worthington Park

Local Veteran escorted in half-track

Waitis L. Rogers, Jr. of Worthington passed away at the age of 92 last Wednesday. Rogers served in Belgium until the end of World War II where he drove a half-track military vehicle for a Colonel. His grandson, Kyle Rogers, said Waitis discovered a half-track nearly identical to the one he drove during the war at the Indiana Military Museum in Vincennes, Ind.....
