JASONVILLE -- Residents of the Jasonville Water Utility are under a boil order until further notice. According to Jasonville Utilities Supervisor Troy Fougerousse, the order will remain in place until the chlorine residual goes down. "It's nothing out of the ordinary," Fougerousse said. "We installed some new equipment and we want people to boil the water until we get the test results back."...

JASONVILLE -- A late Saturday night fire at a Harrison Street house in Jasonville is under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshall's Office. Two local schools are coming together to Tune Out Cancer and support Dawson Brown, a freshman at Linton-Stockton, who is battling cancer. Dawson, the son of Shawn and Christine Brown, is currently undergoing treatment for osteosarcoma, a type of cancer that occurs in teenage boys when they have a growth spurt. At last month's meeting, Clerk-Treasurer Jane Landry reported the city's Form 1728 budget notice from the Department of Local Government and Finance (DLGF) called for cuts in three areas totaling more than $42,000.
