Construction started on Goose Pond Fish & Wildlife Visitors Center

Construction has started at Goose Pond Fish & Wildlife Area on a visitors center and DNR Division of Fish & Wildlife southwest regional office. The 8,064-acre Greene County property opened in 2005. About 12,000 wildlife watchers visit each year, and the property records about 3,500 annual hunting efforts (one hunter visit for one day).....

RDL to host Spring Cleanup this Saturday

Gregg endorses Wilkes' re-election

The Wilkes campaign gained momentum on Friday evening when former Speaker of the Indiana House John Gregg endorsed John Wilkes' re-election. Dale Knotts introduced Gregg at a political rally in the Roy Clark Community Building and explained that a month ago, Knotts contacted Gregg asking him to endorse Wilkes in the upcoming primary.....

Fourth inning rally lifts Miners over Cards

Linton-Stockton rallied for eight runs in the fourth inning, breaking a 1-all deadlock and carrying the Miners to a 9-1 win over Bloomfield in Southwestern Indiana Athletic Conference high school baseball Saturday. Linton-Stockton coach Matt Fougerousse summed up the win by saying, "We got good pitching, good defense and our bats woke up there."...
