Courthouse staff takes a stand on "Go Purple Day"

Officials and staff members at the Greene County Courthouse showed their support for victims of domestic violence this week on "Go Purple Day" by wearing purple and signing pledges to take a stand. The Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence designated Thursday, October 22 as "Go Purple Day" and they encouraged everyone to wear purple to support the victims and to take a stand against domestic violence.....

Spookfest to haunt downtown Linton on Thursday

LINTON -- For the second year in a row, Spookfest, sponsored by Rediscover Downtown Linton (RDL), is returning to downtown Linton on Thursday, at 5 p.m. This is the second year RDL has hosted Spookfest, and subsequently, the second year it's been in the downtown area. Prior to its return, Spookfest was held at Linton's Humphreys Park for a number of years, having previously moved away from downtown.....
