UPDATED: Local runners make history at CC state finals

TERRE HAUTE --Three weeks ago at the start of the sectionals a total of 2,140 girls started their journey towards the finish line -- the state finals at LaVern Gibson Championship Course. On Saturday the number had been whittled down to just 208 of the states best. Among those remaining were Bloomfield's Alli Workman and Shakamak's Liz Bredeweg.
