Greene County Relay For Life held a walk to benefit the American Cancer Society Friday night in the gymnasium at WRV High School. The event is held annually to raise funds and to celebrate the winning fights of cancer survivors nationwide. The Bloomfield softball team ran into a buzz saw in the form of North Central's Katelynn Kennedy on Friday. The Ladybird senior hurler tossed a perfect game against the Lady Cards in North Central's 1-0 win. "She had us fooled with her off speed stuff," Bloomfield coach Bill McIntosh said of Kennedy.
