Junior legion team wraps up season; SR team still alive (High School Sports ~ 07/15/16)
The Greene County Junior Legion team concluded its 2016 season on July 10th in Terre Haute with a runner-up finish in the Region 1 tournament. The Eagles used three pitchers to defeat the Crawfordsville Jr Legion 4-3 on Saturday to advance to the championship. Timely hitting and solid pitching proved to be the right combination for the team.
