Edwin F. Wright, 75, of Los Lunas, N.M., died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in Albuquerque, N.M. of natural causes. Ed was born in Linton in 1942, attended Linton-Stockton High School and graduated class of 1960 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 1/2 years. He worked in security for Broadway stores of Southern California and was retired. Virginia Rose Pankey, 93, of Loogootee, went to her heavenly home at 10:02 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017. She was born on Sept. 27, 1923 to the late James and Anna (Lechien) Haffley in Linton. Virginia attended Linton schools, graduating in 1941. On June 14, 1941, she married the love of her life, Russell W. Pankey.
