A new book donated to the Eastern Branch of the Bloomfield Public Library will bring a Hoosier perspective to the Civil War. Historical author Nancy Baxter is well-known for making appearances at the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene Public Library. The Eastern Branch was among 60 libraries in the state to receive a copy of Baxter’s new book, “A Cabinet of Curiosities from the Civil War in Indiana: Important, Moving and Sometimes Odd Stories of the Human Side of the War.” The donation of the book to the library was made possible by Dean Rubeck of Indianapolis. ...
