Dotson pleads guilty to aggravated battery

A Bloomfield man has pleaded guilty to aggravated battery with a firearm after a witness’s testimony this weekend. Shawn Dotson, 36, faced preliminary charges of attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm and battery after allegedly shooting a man in the neck on Nov. 26, 2016.
