The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southwestern Greene County until 2:15 p.m. "At 1:32 p.m. EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near St. Francisville, or near Vincennes, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees," the report states...

Linton’s Baesler’s Market, located in the Linton Shopping Center, recently changed its name to SuperValu and held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the re-branding with the Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce.
