Verlin Roy Dyer, age 71, of Bloomfield, formerly of Worthington, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. He was born in Linton on Dec. 21, 1946, the son of Wayne and Betty Lou (Reed) Dyer. Verlin was a 1965 graduate of Worthington-Jefferson High School. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a machinist for 20years at Griffin Engineering in Worthington, and retired from Otis Elevator after many years of service...
