Poppy Day set for May 4 (Local News ~ 04/25/18)
Linton Mayor John Wilkes signed a proclamation this week declaring May 4 as Poppy Day for the American Legion Post 22. Poppy Chairman and American Legion Auxiliary member Susie Brinson said poppies will be distributed on May 4 at both doors of the Walmart in Linton. Members of the American Legion, Legion Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion will be handing out the hand-crafted poppy flowers with donations going to help the efforts of the organization... -
