STAFF REPORT Lady Cards tame North Knox. Bloomfield took the lead at halftime Saturday night at North Knox and never looked back. The Lady Cards (4-1) took a 25-22 halftime lead and steadily pulled away from the Lady Warriors (5-2) to win 58-47. Malea Toon, 25 points, and Kylee Shelton, 22, gave Bloomfield a lethal one-two punch. The Lady Cards also shot 19-25 (76.0 percent) from the charity line...

Eastern-Greene coach Jon Neill faces a jigsaw puzzle this season with his young team. The Thunderbirds lost five players to graduation last spring, including Caleb Hamilton and Ethan Helton, the team’s leading scorers. “Obviously, we lost a lot,” Neill said. “The five seniors, all of them, were big to that team.
