A Linton woman is pleading with drivers to pay attention to the road after her teenage daughter told her a car had to slam on its brakes to avoid hitting her as she tried to get on the school bus last week. Monday’s December meeting of the Jasonville City Council was short and sweet as there were no items of new business on the agenda. Clerk-Treasurer Jane Landry began the meeting by reviewing items of business from the November meeting. An insurance quote from Bliss McKnight was presented to the Council for $92,224.
