Officer James Harrington of the Worthington Police Department warns residents about a phone scam currently being perpetrated in Greene County. “People will get a call from 415-251-0509,” Harrington said. “The person on the other end claims to be a representative of Lending Corps and goes about trying to get personal information and account numbers. I contacted Lending Corps and was told that they do not have representatives cold-call anyone, ever. These calls are a scam.”...
