On Tuesday, Feb. 19 from 6-7:30 p.m. WRV will host an Open House event originally scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 7. Due to high-water conditions, the event for students and their parents was postponed. Tonita Kay Spencer, 75 of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was the daughter of Tony Pope and Minnie (Goodwin) Pope of Cass. Kay graduated from Dugger Union High School in 1961. She received a B.S. degree from Indiana State University and Masters degrees from Indiana University and Western Kentucky University. She taught elementary education in Dugger, Loogootee, and Tell City.
