MARTINSVILLE -- The Cardinals cashed their paycheck Saturday night. Bloomfield (20-7) defeated Greenwood Christian (16-11) 52-50 to win the Martinsville Regional. Several players, including A.J. Sipes and Cameron Ross, said the Cardinal coaches told them that taking a regional title would be like cashing a check on payday.
