Fatal accident result of vehicle’s exhaust igniting foliage

A Thursday evening single-vehicle accident resulted in the death of a local woman. According to a press release issued by the Greene County Sheriff’s Department Monday afternoon, Elizabeth Ann Spears, 67, died in the accident Thursday, April 11. The press release states Spears was reportedly traveling on Corwin Road in Bloomfield in a 2006 Hummer H3 when the vehicle traveled east of the road’s shoulder and became lodged on the edge of the roadway...

The Jasonville Police Department is seeking the public’s help following an accident involving a pedestrian Monday night. According to JPD’s Facebook page, the vehicle vs. pedestrian accident happened in the area of Main and Horace Streets.
