TENNIS Smash Cancer The Linton-Stockton and Bloomfield tennis teams will smash cancer at Loogootee. The Loogootee Invitational, set for 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, has been designated a Smash Cancer Event. A white male was allegedly in the area soliciting donations on behalf of a nonprofit agency providing safety-based literature and coloring books for children at Linton-Stockton Elementary School...

The Theta Gamma Alpha Alumnae meeting was held Sept. 5, 2019, at noon in the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church. Hostesses were Deb Cullison and Susan Isenogle, who helped in place of hostess Barbara Myers, who was unable to attend. A fall theme was provided in decorations for the meeting. Each member was given a favor of assorted candies. Following prayer by Susan Holtsclaw, nine members enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by the hostesses...
