Joe E. Turner III, age 77, of Linton, passed away at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019, at home. He was born in Linton on Dec. 13, 1941, the son of Joe Turner II and Marguriete (Hunter) Turner. He was a graduate of Linton High School. He worked as a linotype operator right out of high school then went to work at GE for nearly 30 years.
