Two City of Linton officials will be immersing themselves in Japanese culture to build relationships and hopefully bring industry to the area. Linton Mayor John Wilkes and Clerk-Treasurer Jathan Wright will be headed to Japan Sunday as part of a grant through the Japan Foundation “Grassroots Exchange Network-Japan (Gen-J).” The all-expenses-paid trip will allow the city leaders to better understand the Japanese culture and make ties with industry leaders at no cost to taxpayers. ...
