WRV students build 68 baskets for elderly Greene County residents

For the third year in a row, WRV students have built baskets for the Generations Build-A-Basket event, this year marking the 12th annual Build-A-Basket. After a slow start, the event sponsor, WRV FCA, which stands for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, managed to fill approximately 68 baskets and totes to be distributed around Greene County. This more than doubled their donations from 2019 and fulfilled their 2020 goal of 40 baskets...

Solar park coming to Linton

A solar park is on the horizon for the city of Linton. The park is scheduled to be developed by Indiana Municipal Power Agency (IMPA), a non-profit organization and power supply wholesaler that is “low-cost, reliable, and environmentally responsible,” of which Linton is a founding member. Community doubles number of tablets for Glenburn

On Dec. 18, Bloomfield resident Sam Marie had 11 tablets to give to Glenburn Nursing Home in an effort to make it easier for Glenburn residents to talk with their families.
