Duke Energy has informed the city of Linton of a city-wide power outage, scheduled for May 25/26, 2021 at 12 a.m. and lasting until Wednesday morning around 5 a.m. The purpose of the estimated five-hour outage is to make upgrades to their transmission lines that feed the city.
