Miners win SWIAC golf title by 10 strokes

LINTON – One year ago, Linton was edged out by Clay City for the SWIAC title by three strokes. Saturday at Phil Harris Golf Course was revenge for the Miners as Linton beat Clay City by 10 strokes to be SWIAC Champions. Linton shot a 367 as a team while Clay City was second with a 377. WRV was a close third at 381. Eastern Greene fought through with a fifth-place finish as it just beat out North Central (407) and Bloomfield (408)...
