Two years ago, Hunter Gennicks made his first start as Linton’s quarterback against Sullivan. Gennicks and the Miners prevailed 22-16, as the win started off a run of 21 wins to just four losses as Linton’s starting quarterback. “There was a lot of nerves going into that game but that game solved a lot of things too. According to a press release issued by the Greene County Sheriff’s Department (GCSD), an accident which occurred at 3:24 p.m. on Sept. 6 sent all involved to IU Health in Bloomington and left one woman deceased. The release states that a 64 year-old male traveling with his wife, 65, from Union City, Tenn. was operating a Honda Pilot traveling southbound on I-69 and exited at the 231 exit.
