Among 12-13 entries received for the annual scarecrow contest sponsored by Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce and Bloomfield Downtown Revitalization, three were chosen as the funniest, scariest and most original. Most original was awarded to the Taylor Township Fire Department of Scotland for their fireman scarecrow, scariest went to Farmers and Mechanics Federal for their witch and funniest went to Art Crafters at the Cabin for their artist scarecrows...

Bloomfield Chamber gathers at The Gathering

Sullivan County - On Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, at approximately 11 p.m., Indiana State Police (ISP) Trooper Austin Robertson observed a white passenger vehicle in Dugger near the intersection of Johnson and Monroe Streets that failed to signal a turn.
