No. 1 Miners split long road trip

The Linton boys basketball team put the miles on this weekend with a trip to Mitchell and Newport, Kentucky. The result was a 1-1 weekend as the Miners earned their first defeat of the season against Cooper Saturday, 73-61. Linton dismantled Mitchell Friday, 71-34, as Coach Joey Hart was able to play reserve players to keep his starters fresh for Saturday’s game.
