Coach Joey Hart not returning to Linton

The Linton-Stockton School Corporation Board of School Trustees voted to not renew the contract of Linton boys basketball coach Joey Hart Monday. The vote was not unanimous with a 3-1 tally to not renew Hart. The lone dissenter was Dr. Eric Wilson. Byron Goodman had to abstain as member of the Linton coaching staff under Hart. The Linton-Stockton Board of School Trustees made a couple of big decisions at the April 17 school board meeting, one being the approval to non-renew the ECA contract of High School Boys Basketball Coach Joey Hart and the other to accept the resignation of School Board President Katie Elliott.
