  • Mr. Flagg captured my attention like no other with his passion and non-conformist attitude and made me want to be in class. Even after 8 years of university studies Mr. Flagg is the best teacher I ever had the honor of learning from. Thank you, sir.

  • I believe my favorite teacher NOW that it's all over would have to be Mr. Hadley. During school I couldn't stand him I thought he was the toughest thing around. Those LONG papers he made us write really helped me out in nursing school! So I appreciate everything he taught me now. Plus Mr. Jones English and Science he was always an AWESOME teacher. You didn't know you were learning until after he was done. Then it hit you "Like hey I just learned something." TWO GREAT TEACHERS!

  • Ditto to that. Mr. Flagg encouraged my love of reading and to this day I love to read. Don't think High School would have been near as memorable if it weren't for him and Joe Cabel. They have my undying gratitude to this day.

  • When I read the question I knew the answer. Mr. Flagg was by far the best and entertaining. He made learning fun. As long as you put your best effort forth you would have no problems. Thanks Mr. Flagg for all the years you have put in at WRV.

  • Donna McCammon was the English teacher you forgot to include her name and I wanted to be sure she got mentioned. She was always so much fun. She and Mr. Bill Haseman had an ongoing prankfess going that made the day go faster but never got in the way of the fact that they were two of the toughest teachers in the school. Thanxs again Mrs McCammon

  • At LHS we have an incredible bunch of teachers so it's hard to pick just one.Jim Haseman, hands down, was my favorite teacher with Ray Boyer as a close second. If Mike Puckett was onboard in 82 he would have made my list as well.

  • Mr. (Bob) Craig would have to be one of my favorite teachers in high school. My senior year, another teacher of mine had a little bit of fun, at my expence, anyway Mr. Craig did a simular thing. One day I pulled one on him and he did not even relize it for a couple of days. There was also the time that he told me that I owed him throunds of dollors just because I was in his class. I think he kept on saying that I owed him money my junior and senior years.

  • Mrs Bredweg hands down was the finest teacher I ever had. She taught my fourth grade class and it was awesome. The funny thing is that she is the only teacher who ever paddled me. She also let me ride her scooter that she had when she broke her leg. It was an awesome year.

  • Mr. Flagg was the most amazing teacher that I have ever had. I am working on my Master and to this day I have not found anyone who enjoyed teaching as much or wanted each and everyone of his students to succeed. I teach in Corpus Christi, TX. and I am always telling my students about Mr.Flagg and his amazing sunflower jump. He made learning fun. Thank you Mr. Flagg for being such a great role model and helping us become the people we are today. Trenade Sutton
