Doris A. Schubla

Doris A. Schubla, age 79, of Linton, passed away at 8:27 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at Lyons Health & Living Center in Lyons.

She was born Jan. 7, 1927, in Linton, the daughter of John R. and Georgia (Mitchaner) Himebrook.

She was a member of the Linton First Baptist and for 30 years took care of the elderly in their homes.

Survivors include three sons, James M. Schubla, Jr. of Linton, Billy Robert Schubla of Linton, and Bryan Keith Schubla of Linton; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Martin Schubla; two brothers, Rolland and Jon Himebrook; and her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday after 10 a.m. on Saturday.
