U.S. Navy captain thanks mayor, city, Orman

To the Editor:

Thanks to Linton Mayor Tom Jones and the city of Linton, and Silver Star Veterans (Greg Orman).

Thank you so much for your welcome and honor given to the veterans of the 357th Fighter Group, WW2, USAF. They were most touched and honored by your proclamation and time you spent with them.

I also know there was a lot of behind-the-scenes time required too. Every single one of them truly was honored and each was touched by the recognition you gave them. Thank you very much.

I appreciate this little town and its values, and that you cared enough to honor these American heroes.
