Kay Ann Ellis, 53, of Bloomfield, passed away at 6:51 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2005 at her residence.

Born Feb. 3, 1951 in Linton, she was the daughter of Malcolm L. and Helen V. (Weaver) Hamilton. She had been married to Gary L. Ellis.

She was a homemaker and a beautician for Guys and Gals in Bloomfield. She was a member of Bloomfield First Christian Church.

Survivors include: her husband Gary L. Ellis of Bloomfield; a daughter Courtney (Ellis) and her husband Jeremiah Beaver of Charlestown, W.Va.; a granddaughter Skylar Bethany Beaver of Charlestown, W.Va.; two brothers, Randy Hamilton of Brownsville, Ore., and Dennis Hamilton and his wife Cindi of Bloomfield; two nephews, Mathew and Patrick Hamilton; and two nieces, Lindsey Padgett and Emily Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service was Monday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield. The Rev. Arlen Pope officiated. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Visitation was Sunday.
