Apathy could be the downfall of our country

To the Editor:

To those of voting age who live in Linton:

Surely there are more than 1,704 people of voting age living in Linton!

Regardless of whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, if you did not vote on Tuesday, you have no right to complain about any problems that may arise! Just keep your mouth shut and remember to vote the next election.

Then you will have participated in the right given to us by the Founding Fathers: To have a voice in government!

If you take no interest in selecting people to represent you, you are playing into the hands of our enemies! Apathy could be the downfall of our country.
