Parents, you are your child's first teacher

Parents, we are our child's first teacher and that is a huge responsibility! We cannot wait until our children go to school and expect teachers to get our children "caught up" on what they should already know. That should not be the teacher's responsibility. It is not fair to teachers, but more importantly it is not fair to our children. Unfortunately, that is what teacher are expected do.
