Linton small business owner wants her signs returned

Monday, January 7, 2008

To the Editor:

Please bring my signs back.

I own two small businesses in Linton. The week of Christmas my beauty shop sign at the corner of 150 N and 1375 W disappeared and New Year's Day my sign at the "T" of Price Road and 1375 W was gone.

I run a small beauty shop from my home and these signs were my only advertising and aided my clients in finding my business. They were professionally made at Markle's (another fine local business) and had my phone number on them. They had been there for nearly three years.

They are of no use to anyone other than me. This type of vandalism, along with carelessness of people, cost my businesses over $500 a year in repairs. This makes it tough on the little guy.

I am asking, if you have either or both of my signs, please put them back or call the number on them and I will come and get them, no questions asked.
