To the Editor:

A special thanks from the family of Brandon Joseph House:

On Jan. 16th, our beloved Brandon Joseph House left us to go back home into the heavens from which he came. He was only here on earth for a day and half, but in that short time he touched many lives.

Our family would like to express our greatest appreciation to the OB staff at Greene County General Hospital for the extraordinary care they provided to Brandon in his time of crisis and also for the special care of his mother received while they were patients at GCGH. You showed kind hearts and treated them like they were your own family.

Then, in the time, that things turned hard for Brandon a few special people stepped up to give him a little longer time here with us. We are forever grateful to those people for helping us have him with us little longer.

Dr. Bryan and Dr. Krista Cox, you did a wonderful job working with Brandon. You never gave up on him and you were there to support our family at a time where we were lost. You stood beside us when we had questions. You shared tears with us and gave us a shoulder to lean on when we heard the worst. Those are rare from doctors, but it shows that your heart is full and invested in your patients. God Bless you both!

Teresa Henico, Brooke Driscol, Joyce Weaver, Stan Harbaugh, Brent Sparks, the neonatal lifeline crew, St.Vincent's Women's Hospital, and we know there are many others we are forgetting. We thank you so much for working so hard to help save Brandon's life. You did all you could to help Brandon and we are proud to know you all and have you in our corner.

Thank you to Todd Walton and Welch & Cornett Funeral Home for helping us through the most difficult time in our lives. You were kind, supportive and made sure everything went as we wanted and so much more.

God bless you Pastor Mike Chapman and the First Christian Church of Linton for taking such great care of our family during the first storm and then again after the storm had passed with Brandon. You, not even knowing us, just came on in and showed us how kind your hearts are.

Keeping us in your prayers, preparing meals, lending a helping hand, and just showing us God's good love and faith working to help our family weather the storm. God bless you and thank you.

A special thanks for the loving donation from the anonymous person giving to Brandon through Welch &Cornett Funeral Home. We are grateful to you, and want you to know we appreciate what you did for our family.

To all our family, friends, and the many others who were there beside us we thank you all for your prayers, your support, your cards, your donations, and most of all you love. God bless you and we are forever grateful.
