Girl Scouts thankful for Greene County volunteers

Friday, April 18, 2008

To the Editor:

In honor of Girl Scout Leader Day on April 22, Girl Scouts of Tulip Trace Council, Inc. would like to thank all of our volunteers who live in Greene County. The dedicated women and men who serve as Girl Scout leaders in this area have a profound effect on everyone that they help.

It is through these committed individuals that more than 340 girls in Greene can discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together that Girl Scouting offers. These volunteers are vital to carrying out the Girl Scout mission of building girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. They consistently give of their time and resources to help girls develop leadership skills for success in the real world and, for that, we are so grateful.
