To the Editor:

(Repentance)

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. ."

(2 chronicles 7:14)

My brothers and sisters in Christ, I am very concerned about our nation today. The United States of America is falling, we are losing her, and the fault lies within us. We who are born again children of God, had better start living a repentant life style, or we are going to lose this great country of ours.

God has stated time and time again in these devotional messages to get into your prayer closet and put Him first in your lives, give Him 100 percent of your lives, do what you know is right according to His Word.

James 4:17 says "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin." We might say in our hearts "I know I should start reading my Bible and praying every day but"; or "what is going to happen is going to happen no matter what I do."

These are the attitudes that is destroying this country of ours. If we would listen to the Holy Spirit and be obedient to God's calling on our lives, God will bless this great nation of ours and He would put leaders in that will run the country according to His Word.

Please get into your prayer closet every day, study your Bible, ask God to reveal to you His will for your life is, and as God opens doors for you, go throughout them. What a great joy it is to serve our God. Just be obedient to His Word.

God loves you!
