Kenneth H. Sprague

Kenneth H. Sprague, 79, of Jasonville, passed away at 8:50 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

He was born April 21, 1929 in Terre Haute to Archie D. and Opal Lowe Sprague.

He graduated from Jasonville High School where he played football and basketball and attended Ivy Tech College after his military service. He served four years in the U.S. Navy and 20 years in the U.s. Coast Guard retiring with the rank of Chief Petty Officer.

Survivors include: daughters, Cindy Andrews of Terre Haute and Suzette Ridinger of Bloomington; a son, Kenneth Scott Sprague of Terre Haute; a sister, Rosemary Miller of Jasonville; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and wife, Mary Ann (Chernoff) Sprague

Graveside memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville with Pastor Chris McKinney officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville.
