Cardinals play long ball against Jug Rox

Cody Pearson, Payton Karl, Ryan Montgomery and John Sachtjen each hit home runs as Bloomfield defeated visiting Shoals 13-1 in five innings in a high school baseball game Saturday.

Karl struck out eight and allowed five hits as he pitched a complete game to earn the victory.

Zach Mead hit two grade slam home runs to lead the Bloomfield JV baseball team to a 9-5 victory over Shoals.

Bloomfield's game at Union (Dugger) Monday was rained out. Bloomfield will play at Sullivan Tuesday.
