JAIL LOG

* April 20 -- Randy J. Nickle, 27, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of intimidation, released on $4000 bond on April 21 and scheduled to appear in court on May 4. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Shane Smith was the arresting officer.

* April 20 -- Christina A. Vantlin, 37, Vincennes, was arrested on a warrant and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Reserve Deputy Rick Marques was the arresting officer.

* April 20 -- Brent M. Howell, 37, Vincennes, was arrested on a warrant and was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy John Fowler was the arresting officer.

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Monday included one follow-up investigation, two requests for information only, one accident with personal injury, one accident with property damage, one alarm, two animal complaints, one suspicious vehicle/person, one harassment complaint, one extra patrol, one theft-other, one domestic dispute, two ordinance violations, one battery and three traffic stops.

* April 20 -- No injuries were reported following a minor accident involving two vehicles around 5:48 p.m. in the parking lot of the WalMart store on State Road 54E. A 17-year-old male driving a 1986 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was attempting to park in a slot next to a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox registered to a Carlisle resident. When he pulled in, the rear passenger fender of his vehicle made contact with the rear driver's side bumper of the parked vehicle and caused damage. LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes was the investigating officer.
