The Linton Police Department's activity log for Wednesday included three follow-up investigations, two requests for information only, two accidents with property damage, one medical/illness, one animal complaint, one suspicious vehicle/person, one theft-other, one arrest-wanted on warrant, one domestic dispute and 12 traffic stops.

* May 6 -- Charles H. Griffith, 41, Linton, was arrested around 8:06 p.m. in a cooperative effort of LPD Officers Heath Evan Murray, Cpl. Chad Crynes, Officer Jayson Smith, Det. Josh Goodman and Indiana State Police Trooper Bill Snead. Griffith was wanted on an arrest warrant issued out of Sullivan County in connection with a petition to revoke his probation. Griffith was located at the Roosevelt Mission on E. Vincennes St., taken into custody, transported to Dugger then transported by the ISP to the Sullivan County Jail. LPD Officer Heath Evan Murray was the investigating officer.
