Risher family
appreciates kindness
To the Editor:
The family of Bob Risher Jr. would like to thank family and friends during the unexpected death of our loved one.
Thanks to those who sent cards, flowers, food and those attending the service and Anderson Poindexter for their kindness.
Also a special thank you to Pastor David Tyra and the First Baptist Church.

Thank you Greene County for the support
To the Editor:
As Greene County Coordinator for the Generation' AngelWorx program, I would like to express my appreciation for this community's support of our first Build*A*Basket project.
I was thrilled by the overwhelming response to the is project. Thanks to the generosity of school children, scout troops, businesses and organizations, churches, families and individuals, 383 clients in our six-county service area received baskets over the Christmas holiday.
One basket recipient who called the Generations' office said the basket was the only Christmas she had received in six years and that getting a basket made this the best Christmas she has had in a long time.
Build*A*Basket really brought home the truth behind the old proverb It is better to give than to receive. Thanks so much for helping to make the holidays a little brighter for so many of the homebound elderly in your community.
AngelWorx is an active volunteer program in Greene County that serves our homebound citizens. For more information, please call 847-7360 or the Generations office 1-800-742-9002.
