More storms in forecast

Another line of dark and foreboding clouds, pictured above White River, taken from the Pryor Bridge on State Road 157, moved across Greene County late Monday bringing still more rain to the area. Tuesday reports from the the Linton and Worthington Police Departments and the Greene County Sheriff's Department indicate no serious damages or emergency calls as a direct result of the Monday storms. On Tuesday, the National Weather Service forecast for Greene County states, "Thunderstorms are likely today and tonight. Any storms that do become severe will be capable of producing damaging winds, hail and frequent lightning. Heavy downpours may also cause localized flooding across areas already saturated from earlier storms." The forecast for Wednesday through Friday includes the possibility of more storms.
