Letters to the Editor
Thank you for
helping food pantry
To the Editor:
The volunteers from the Jasonville United Methodist Church Back Door Food Pantry want to say thank you to all who donated food or money to our food drive during the Jasonville Homecoming parade. It was very successful.
Also a big thank you to Linton's Save-A-Lot for the use of the grocery carts, Billy Flanders for the use of his trailer, The Sycamore Strummers, the Linton Food Pantry and Linton's First Christian Church for the use of the shelves.
Love in Christ.

Sunday In The
Park a success
To the Editor:
Buck and I would like to thank all who attended our Third Annual Sunday In The Park held on Sept. 12, 2010 in the Lyons Town Park.
We felt blessed to have over 275 in attendance; great food, beautiful weather and fantastic entertainment -- plus wonderful volunteers who stepped up to lend a hand in the chores that needed to be done!
Thank you to Mike, Tammy, Eric, Anthony, Jeremiah and Stephanie Calvert, Jim and Virginia Frye, Paul and Debbie Vester, Adah Glenn, Ryan Mullis, Dylan Fulk, Vaughn Johnson, Joshua Jones, the band By His Wounds, Terry Pierce and Friends, Bill Owens and Friends, Nick Schneider, Greene County Daily World and all of our friends and neighbors in the town of Lyons.
It was a wonderful day and we want to invite everyone out for next year's Fourth Annual Sunday in the Park on Sept. 11, 2011!
